We are always looking for talented, experienced stylists to grow our team of amazing folks. Meet Daniel and Rhylie, the newest additions. One for each location. We are honored they chose P&J as their home base and look forward to seeing them grow at their new spot. Here's a little more about them.
Daniel Torres-Aponte | @hairbydaniel
I'm from Houston, Texas and graduated Paul Mitchell The School Houston in 2011. I started my career at an amazing salon that gave me such a fantastic platform to learn and grow. Through that salon I became a Bumble and Bumble Network Educator. In those 3 years as network educator I was immersed in Bumble culture and found my love for organic movement and tones with hair. As time progressed I found my niche in Hair Painting and Lived In Looks, and have dedicated the last 3 years perfecting it and sharing my experiences with fellow stylists at salons in and around Houston.
All my motivation to succeed in my career comes from my son. He is my biggest muse and greatest teacher. When I'm not doing hair, I’m with my son creating shared, connected experiences. Right now my hobbies are to find the best Giant Bubble Recipe, and Hair Product Formulations.
Rhylie Crosswhite | @hairbyrhylie
I grew up in Chico, CA and moved to San Diego in 2008 to attend Paul Mitchell the School where I graduated in 2009. I moved to Nashville in 2011 and started working at Trim where I got to really expand my education and live out some bucket list things which included: photo shoots, fashion shows, music video shoots, and television work. I have always been most obsessed with VIVID unnatural color and making it look as natural, blended, and as rich as possible. I love cutting and coloring to create looks that are soft, blended, and pretty just as much as I love to create looks that are eccentric, textured, and loud.
I love almost all things sci-fi/fantasy. I’m a movie & tv junkie, love the self help/spiritual section of the book store, and also love working out by practicing muay thai and taking strength training classes.
